Welcome toTuscany, where the rustic cuisine of the west coast of Italy meets the best the north east has to offer.
Inspired by a passion for authentic Italian food equaled only by our commitment to local, homegrown produce, at Tuscany we marry the two in a mouthwatering menu.
After discovering Tuscan cuisine on a trip to Italy I decided I had to re-create the flavours I had fallen in love with, and brought on head chef Mark Lawlor and celebrated north east chef Terrry Laybourne to create the menu.
Specialities include roasted monkfish with grilled lettuce, red repper relish and polenta, Porchetta, a Tuscan-style pork roast with fennel, herbs and garlic, and Tuscan lamb casserole.
Although the recipes may have their roots in the Mediterranean, the ingredients are from much closer to home – we always try to get our produce from local suppliers and fresh, seasonal ingredients are used wherever possible.
