Debbie Adamson, Operations Manager

Debbie has been operations manager at Tuscany since the restaurant opened in 2007.

Originally from South Shields , Debbie studied a degree in English at Sunderland University before taking an NVQ level 4 in Management at South Tyneside College.

Debbie spent two years working in Zakynthos in Greece before moving back to the North East where she worked at the Quality Hotel in Boldon. She has also spent several years in managerial positions, as assistant manager at Schofield's Pharmacy in South Shields, and as manager of Southridge Out-of-School Scheme in Whitley Bay before joining the team at Tuscany.

Debbie has a passion for service improvement and believes that satisfied customers are not enough - their expectations should be exceeded and not simply met. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys painting and drawing and has had two of her works exhibited at South Shields Art Gallery.

What you didn’t know about Debbie: “I’m a qualified Occupational Therapist with a Post Graduate Diploma from Teesside University.”
